Ashbank House is a Scottish owned Bed and Breakfast located in the wonderful town of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire.

We are pleased to be part of the Visit Scotland 'Good to Go' scheme. The Victorian house is situated in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of Pitlochry – 100 metres from the network of wonderful walking paths that surround the town, yet less than 10 minutes walk to the shops, cafes and amenities of the main street. We provide off-road parking and storage for bicycles.
The attractive village of Moulin and the start of the path to Ben Y Vrackie (841m) are a few minutes walk away.
Rooms overlook the large wooded garden and babbling burn complete with wildlife including visiting deer, red squirrels and numerous varieties of birds. Guests are welcome to relax in the tranquil woodland garden.
Other activities within walking distance include whisky tasting at the one of the two distilleries in town, or a visit to the popular Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre and salmon ladder.
There is usually an opportunity in town to watch some Highland Dancing or listen to live traditional music. Pitlochry is also home to the famous Festival Theatre where a varied selection of performances, workshops and events take place all year round.
Autumn sees the highly acclaimed Enchanted Forest light show on the edge of Pitlochry attracting visitors from all over. Numerous lochs, glens, and castles are only a short drive away as are many of Highland Perthshire’s charming small towns and villages. For the serious shopper the delights of the House of Bruar are 15 minutes drive away in Blair Atholl. Pitlochry has a mainline railway station on the Inverness to London line. The quaint Victorian station is situated just off the main street.
